Iowa... America... we have a wonderful opportunity before us. The chance to have an honest, open government, that listens to the interests of the American people, instead of giving into to corporate money. The chance to have the secretary be heard just as loudly as the multi billionaire boss. The chance to live in a country that truly understands freedom.

One man, an African American man with a funny name, brings hope to a country filled with the hopeless. A man who, when I first saw his Illinois Senate advertisements, I knew would somehow change the world. An inspiration kind of guy with a lot of energy and a powerful message. "This is the united states of America."

Honest, integrity, are the backbone of what we need here in America. A future that looks hopeful. Barack Obama has time and again had not only the judgement, but the courage to lead America. He was the candidate to speak out against the mistake of the Iraq war from the beginning. He was the candidate to help pass some of the toughest ethics reforms in Washington.

Barack Obama brings a message of hope to all of America. His presidential campaign has never taken money from lobbyists or PACs. He doesn't constantly change his position on the issues. Barack stands for renewable, alternative energy choices. Senator Obama stands for world-class education for the future of America. Barack Obama offers health care to those of us who can't afford it as costs skyrocket.

Barack Obama is the kind of candidate anyone can agree with - he has reached across the aisle to republicans many times during his term in Senate. Moreover, he has the most support from Independents and even some Republicans when compared to any other democratic candidate. Furthermore, Barack is a patriot. A patriot who doesn't oppose all wars, just "dumb wars" & "rash wars". Obama not only believes in keeping our children and our country safe, but also understands we have a solemn duty to not send our young men and young women into pointless, meaningless battles.

Soon, Iowa, we have the chance to bring about REAL CHANGE. Something new. Something good. Something that will unite America.

So I'm asking you to believe.... in hope for the future... in the ability to bring about real change we can believe in. I'm asking you to Caucus for Barack Obama.
