Going To Anime Festival Orlando 2009
I've been preparing this week for Anime Festival Orlando, their 2009 convention is the 10th year for AFO. I will be writing as much as possible about the convention, after being prepped for my UpcomingCons.com convention tour by the excitement I found at NatsuCon.
I noticed, though, that the Taxi from Orlando-Sanford International Airport to the Wyndham hotel is going to be very expensive... $86 each way, plus tip, equals $200 total. Not fun.
Regardless, Anime Festival Orlando is going to be a blast. I have planned out an itinerary, which does not yet include enough time to actually collect thoughts and write, and am working on packing as best I can. Stuffing a Sephiroth outfit into a small bag, including armor, boots, and wig, is not going to be terribly simple. I also have to ensure my cooling system works this time, which includes a fan and circulated water cooling, otherwise I will definitely melt in Florida. I already wrote about what not to miss at AFO 10, and have used that to help plan out my schedule. There are lots of exciting panels going on, and plenty of famous voice actors to network with. Anyway, lots to prepare for!
